When I think about our community I think of the the Act 2 Community:
“42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:42-47)

We believe that church meets two times a week first in intentional small group community and on Sunday in corporate interregnal community.

AGAPE Lifegroup is a part of Epicentre Church and the APU Discipleship Office and we believe in three G’s (GGG Vision)- Get Rock, Get Real, & Give It Away. Let me hear you say it with me. Get Rocked, Get Real, & Give It Away. We are a community that is all about Getting Rocked by who God is by Focusing On the Throne, Getting Real, in a culture of vulnerability and self-sacrificing love Pursuing Holiness, & Giving It Away, having a Heart For the Lost.

Our motto at AGAPE is “LOVING PEOPLE… LOVING PEOPLE!” In John 21, Simon Peter jumps out of the book at the sight of Jesus and after eating breakfast Jesus asks him three times, “do you love me?” Simon responds all three times saying, “you know that I love you.” All three times Jesus asks with the word AGAPE while Simon responds in remorse with the word Phileo, great affection.

"The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep”…Then he said to him, “Follow me!” -John 21:17,19

We are “LOVING PEOPLE LOVING PEOPLE” and our highest calling is unconditional (AGAPE) love that empowers genuine care in relationships and comfort in obedience that change our community. Our desire is to create a space for ALL PEOPLE to gather together in a culture of vulnerability and self-sacrificing service in laughter and life transformation.
