As we remain faithful through suffering and hardship, we witness to a broken world about God's goodness and faithfulness. Much like athletes who subject themselves to difficult training, Josh encourages us to live a life worthy of the gospel, and train ourselves to persevere through suffering for the sake of God's upward call on our lives.
