LOOKING UP
Worship (-15 mins)
Bible Study (30 mins)— Acts 2:1-47
If we want to see Biblical things happen, we need to live Biblically. This week we’ll dive into Acts 2 again, and we want to go even deeper.

Acts 2:42-47, NIV
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Discussion Questions:
  1. What was the early church devoted to in Acts 2:42-47?
  2. Why is it important for our church/lifegroup to be devoted to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer?
  3. Does our lifegroup break bread? Do we want to start doing this? And, who would we want to invite?
  4. What elements of community do you see demonstrated here at Epicentre/our lifegroup?
  5. How can we grow in our sense of community?

Looking Forward
Go into smaller groups and discuss the following:
  1. How have I grown in community?
  2. Where do I still need help growing in community?
  3. How can I challenge myself to love people well and be part of a present day Acts 2?
  4. Pray for one another.
